Current events of members of our society being killed by our police officers has come to the forefront as an issue as to how we deal with those members of society who portray criminal behavior and have no respect for legal enforcement. Police use fatal force when their lives are threaten or members of society at large are threaten.
We as a society must develop methods of recognizing members of society with the propensity of criminal behavior with intent to inflict physical harm, before it gets to the point of our officers intervening.
These is a quality task for psychiatrist and psychologist!
Currently, there is an outreach to educate Californians about Single Payer Healthcare so its re-introduction into the California legislature will have a public awareness, increasing its chances of passing into law. The end result will be contained healthcare cost but some are balking at the concept of insurance for all. Who is going to pay for this?
Today is Sun April 15th…the 99% spring is under way. There are a lot of activist here that are concerned with the progress of our society. There is an initiative that is being circulated about “Label Genetically Re-Engineered Food”…In Europe altered food is banned. Go to Labelgmos.org for more info. There are flyers being circulated about movies about our financial/social system. Heist is being presented Thursday at Grand Theater in Oakland 7:00pm.
I also heard “Inside Job” is a good flick. A lot of people are unaware of the push for single-payer health care; However, how much more the education on its education.
